24 Montagnard refugees entered Cambodia as refugees from Vietnam following a crackdown on dissent by the Vietnamese authorities. After initially refusing asylum, the Cambodian government later agreed to allow the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees to process their claims for refugee status. In this press release, CHRAC supports the government's decision.
